About Me

I’m a scenario planner.

My work examines today’s signals to figure out where we’re going – as communities and as a society. I look at policy on economics, politics and climate change to answer one question: what’s our trajectory?

My ‘big picture’ is drawn from smaller pictures of everything from pop culture semiotics to global development. As a PhD-trained researcher, you’ll find my work on topics ranging from The Simpsons to co-operative economics.

Some of my heroes are AOC, Ernst Bloch, Mark Fisher, Malalai Joya and Bernie Sanders.

When I’m not writing, teaching or researching, I’m watching Roy Andersson movies and videos about the London Underground.
